Requiem For An Old Friend

My friend just died. It was sudden, but not unexpected. You see, he was 8 years old and had enjoyed a productive life. His name was Mac. He had an 867 dual processor with two wonderful gigs of memory and four hard drives that spun until the bitter end. Mac saw me through years of ups and downs, good times and bad, and was always there for me. Mac donated his organs to my future business. After I realized that light would no longer come into his startup button, I pulled the plug. I took my screwdriver and pliers in shaking hands and harvested his four hard drives. I saved every bit. His memories live on and will continue to live in future processors.

Goodbye, old friend.
